A Psalm of Glory in God’s Creation. A Psalm of Moses.

LORD God, King of Creation, Father Almighty,

From Your hand comes all
Whether it is fashioned by Your fingers
Or you stay Your hand and permit to transpire
Indeed, nothing is to pass without Your discretion.
In Your glory is no mistake,
In Your power is never a trespass.
All things that are good arrive from Your love,
And indeed, all things in Creation are good;
Your kingdom is the crest of Your lovingkindness,
So it has been the pearl of Your tender mercy given to the servants of Your will.
This it shall be forever, and so forth in the hearts of Your inheritance
Because those who seek Your majesty
Will find Your majesty in all things as the nature of its very being.
Truly, LORD, there are no empty eternities in Your hands,
Nor idle thoughts, nor errant whims,
For every small note composes a symphony,
The symphony of the stars and an orchestra formed of the universe;
LORD God, Heavenly King, the world is Yours alone,
And You have shared the treasures of every stitch of every small thing,
And all the magnificence of every large thing,
To prepare a table to share with Your people, Oh God,
And that You share it with us, LORD,
Is all that I ever need,
Now and forever on.
O God, O Maker, O Father, O My LORD,
Your love is all that I ever need,
Now and forever on.
