The love language of God is witnessed here,
He grants a classic — what a gift He made —
Co-signed in Blood and writ on holy ear,
The greater real and gloried story bade.
For then is realer now than now to you,
The moment here is worth forgetting there,
The Gospel lives in those becoming true
And you perishing ash from counted hair.
Yet even heaven needs creating twice,
As not as error, rather perfect craved,
To want to live but live to sacrifice
From faith to age, Godhead-stone engraved:
To make is godly, art is imaged might.
I see the word for Word and light from Light.
