Let a second flood of bitter salt
Pour and pour iridescent flow
After my heart and breathing halt
So it hurts you not when I go
Let a second flood of bitter salt
Wash away the tears on your face
Water fills my chest, it’s not my fault
I never wanted to leave in the first place
Now that I’m so much older
I want to start over again
Just need to start it all over
I don’t want to see the end
Just want to start it all over
I need to start over again
Ancestral serpents sleep in the sand
With the might of Old World ghosts
Let a second flood cover the land
To drown our sorrows, more our hopes
