Mother of Kings

Weakened eyes from the stain of tears
Leah knew many loveless years
She said, let Your grace fall on me like rain
I wept to You, Lord, and I wept again
She cried out to God and God heard
And blood of her blood spoke her word,
To trust in God when His angel sings,
A mother of kings, a mother of kings
“   Dance, dance
     Soil of my sorrows
     Asleep, cold occident
     Promise of tomorrows
Tragic in light, ironically dim
He wept for Rachel and Leah for him
She said, why does care feel like pain
I wept to the Lord and I prayed again
She knew of tricks that darkness brings
Widening shadow of the heavenly wings
He says, I have made you for greater things
A mother of kings, a mother of kings
