21 Feb Staff II | The Mortaliad

As will become a regular annual occurrence, I am pleased to share that the latest installment of the Mortaliad, the “Rain-Cloud Songs,” is now completed. You can as always find it under the appropriate heading on the Mortaliad page. Announcements in the future with header same image will likewise notify you when I finish a Staff, which again denotes ten successive and related Canticles.

You might also see that I have made some renovations to the Canticles themselves. These include adding depictive icons to each Canticle and a holy antiphonic verse to preface each work. I believe these additions will make the experience of the Mortaliad more enjoyable and immersive.

On another note, the book Ghosts in Our Doctrine may well see another delay, as another hardship yet unrelated has arisen and demands my most precious resources, my attention and care. I have since late September suffered no shortage of problems including severe blows to my health and finances. Now I have felt an even worse personal heartache that has made me uncertain about the future of the book. I will post more updates to come on this as the months continue, but I unfortunately have no definite announcements to make. Thanks for your support nonetheless.
