Angel of mine,
Guardian for war,
To thee I turn again,
To thee I do implore:

Aid in my protection,
Pray for my election,
Give me what I lack,
Take away what distracts,
Fend off my temptation,
Be my torment’s vexation,
Snatch me from evil’s jaws,
Plead also for my cause,
Teach me virtue I need,
Push me to righteous deed,
Remind me of my sin,
And rein my eyes in,
Lend me thy fiery sword,
Join me in praise for our Lord.

Amen.
