Kinslayer

Purgation is a type of ruin no sleeplessness obscures;
Woe if it displeases,
No comfort will be yours.

I take but one chance to convey how I realized
This lie older than lying,
We have infinite tries.

Of gossamer memory and fine recollection
I pause with lucid vision
To an old sleeping reflection:

I acquainted with a man again in dreaming lake
He said with rancid stare,
I’ll be here when you awake.

Jolting forth in sober sweat I made the foul connection:
That which dwells within
Uses you for protection.

Cain learned how to kill before he learned how to die,
Before any infant smiles,
He knows he must cry.

Inhale-exhale is a couplet of deaf-ancient mores!
Woe if it displeases,
No comfort will be yours.
