Thus has said the LORD
All receive their just reward
Clean your heart and your hands
His prophecies are His commands
Good conquers where it will fight
But will I be one to survive the night
Rivers run back and drink the ocean
Earth itself trembles then ceases motion
A black mass that crowds the skies
Of locusts with death on their eyes
Razed the cities to foundation-stones
Mighty, mighty fell upon our bones
Rapid lights like lightning combust
And dry bones rise as flesh from dust
Their battle standard burn in living fire
In a chariot with the Golgotha choir
Passion grows in flames royal blue
Seek it out and it might seek you
We all shout with one accord
And thus has said the LORD
The skies cloud over grey and still
We meet in the fields of Jezre’el
Our chests thump with sterling dread
The devil in white and angels in red
We froze in the dark all night long
For the battle arrives at eager dawn
Saint Michael drew against the enemy
Marching shakes every poplar tree
Rosary javelins for the Marian host
The angels of nations parry-riposte
Sunlight shines upon the Ark of God
Guide my arrow, steps, and iron rod
Before His throne at the end of days
I cannot pay the price evil pays
That I could sheathe my sword
But thus has said the LORD
