I lived a life under
The sun’s brilliance
I could never
Bear to look
Yet when I choose
To accept the sunlight
And look at it once
It condescends to
This barren earth
For me
I hold it in my hands
It casts out the darkness
And warms my soul
That is what GOD’s love is to me
